Boyett tops UAB depth chart

Danielsville native as defensive end

Madison County alumnae Connor Boyett is a true freshman at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and is making a name for himself by moving to the top of the depth chart for defensive end.

According to The Birmingham News, UAB head coach Neil Callaway said the move was one of the biggest sur­prises on the depth chart announced.

The UAB depth chart is subject to change and does not include players out with injuries or suspended for the Sept. 2 opener against Florida Atlantic.
