The East Jackson Lady Eagles volleyball team split four matches Saturday in a round robin event at EJCHS, winning two and losing two on the day.
They’ll try to build on that Thursday at Walnut Grove, where the Lady Eagles will face host Walnut Grove — one of the teams they beat Saturday — and West Hall. The first match is slated for 5 p.m.
On Saturday, the Lady Eagles opened with a 2-0 victory over Walnut Grove, winning in sets of 25-11 and 25-15. They followed with a 2-0 loss to George Walton Academy, falling in sets of 25-16 and 25-13.
East Jackson rebounded in its third match, recording a 2-0 win over Alcovy, winning in sets of 25-13 and 25-22.
