After two strong opening seasons that saw the Lady Eagles softball team win back-to-back region titles, East Jackson hit a slump in 2009, going only 5-17 overall and 2-7 in the region.
But that was last year, and the 2010 season is less than two weeks away.
The Lady Eagles will open the season with a home stand against the Archer Lady Tigers on Wednesday, Aug. 11.

They may have alot of younger girls this year, But I can tell you, you have some very talented girls coming up. These girls are a very dedicated, group. They play to win. So yes coach, I think you can look forward to some wins this year with this group of girls.

Have you wondered why your team is so young? Where are all the upper classman? That school has a very talented bunch of players that will not play for your coach. He walked into a great talent pool and it only took him a couple of years to destroy it. I feel for every one of your players because he will beat the spirit and life out them to the point they start to hate the game. Good luck to all of you. You’ll need it more than you know.

Having lived that nightmare, I know from first hand experience. Since you are obviously living in a fantasy world and aren't stating the facts, all I can say is best of luck to all the girls.

yeh and your child, since you said you have first hand experience, was probably one of the ones who quit. They couldnt take the heat. Thats why they cant play the game. :)

They probably weren't the ones who quit, they were the ones who seen how the coach is up close and didn't come back. Everyone thought he was such a good coach the first two years but that was only because he had so much talent he didn't need to even coach. He is the reason no one has came back to play for him. Cussing and throwing stuff at the girls?? Doesn't sound like a good coach to me. Best of luck to the girls this year.
