Strong Field Expected Saturday At GMP

With their victories, both drivers earned an automatic starting spot in the World Crown 300 at Gresham Motorsports Park Nov. 14. Saturday’s U.S. Auto Sales 100 winner will also be awarded a spot in the fall racing classic.

Several other top drivers will be joining Grill and Garmon for the U.S. Auto Sales World Series of Speed at GMP this Saturday. Included are Ryan Blaney, son of NASCAR driver Dave Blaney, current NASCAR K&N Pro Series driver Jody Lavender, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series veteran Ryan Lawler, and Georgia racer T.J. Reid, who will pilot a Kyle Busch Motorsports entry.

Additional entries have been filed by Bubba Pollard, Jeff Fultz, Jason Hogan, Russell Fleeman and Stephen Nasse.

In all, drivers from eight states have already entered the U.S. Auto Sales 100.

In addition to the headline event, Saturday’s Series of Speed will include Outlaw Late Models, Trucks, Renegades, Mini-Stocks and Mini-Cup feature races.

There will also be a special motorcycle show by the Habitual Stunters.

The Main Grandstand and Trackside Parking gates at Gresham Motorsports Park will open at 2 p.m. Saturday.
