Clint Spratlin and Dylan Ivey are fine tuning their baseball skills against some top competition this week.
Spratlin, a recent Winder-Barrow High School graduate, and Ivey, a rising senior for the Diamond Doggs, have been selected to compete for Senior Team Georgia in Norman, Oklahoma.

“We are going to see some quality competition,” Spratlin told the Barrow Journal. “This is a big deal to be able to represent Georgia.”
Ivey, while still in high school, was chosen since the team needed a shortstop. He is one of only two rising seniors on the team.
Ivey was also a key part of the Diamond Dogg’s state playoff trip this past season and runner-up finish in Region 8-AAAA.
Spratlin will be spending even more time in Oklahoma shortly as he has signed to play for Connors State. Ivey will be one of the top returning players for coach Brian Smith next spring at WBHS.
