Barbara Hendricks, wife of former Commerce High School coach Billy Hendricks, received a standing ovation at the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s 10th annual Hall of Fame and 72nd awards banquet June 5.
Hendricks was the recipient of the 2010 Beverly Sanders Raines award, which is presented annually to a person or persons who has contributed in a supporting role, in conjunction with the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s ideals, for the betterment of athletics in his or her school, community and in the state of Georgia.
