Tiger Sharks Open Swim Season Thurs.

The Commerce Tiger Sharks swim team is slated to get its 2010 summer schedule under way this week.

The team will open the season with a home meet, hosting Winder and Hartwell on Thursday at the Commerce Aquatic Center.

The Tiger Sharks will travel to Winder on June 12 to take part in the Pentathlon, and then take part in a Dual Meet at Sterling on the Lake. The team will wrap up June with the North Georgia Swim League Invitational at Dacula on June 26.

The Tiger Sharks will start July with their third dual meet of the season at Green Acres in Athens on July 1. The Sharks will host Jefferson on Tuesday, July 6.

The team will take part in the NGSL District meet and state qualifier on July 10, followed by the League Championship meet on July 17. The State Championships will be held July 23 and 24 at Tifton.
