Dragons fall to Blessed Trinity

The Jefferson Dragons saw their baseball season end at the hands of a strong Blessed Trinity team Thursday.

Blessed Trinity defeated the Dragons 13-3 at JHS in the tie-breaking game of a three game series.

Jefferson had opened the Sweet 16 series with a 24-2 loss, then fought back to win 3-1 to stay alive, forcing Thursday's game three.

The Dragons end the season as the region champs with a 25-5 overall record and 19-1 in the region.
