The excitement level is definitely up this week for the Panther Nation, as spring football practice got under way last week at JCCHS.
Panther coach Billy Kirk said around 93 kids came out last week as the team prepares for a season of AA football after three years against bigger AAA teams.
“There’s a lot of excitement around here right now,” Kirk said. “With moving to the new region, it’s exciting for the kids and exciting for the community. I think we’re seeing the benefits of that excitement everyday that we practice. Kids are flying around and we’re getting more participation than we’ve ever seen here. It’s good to see.”

Just wanted to say Go Panthers! Good Luck this year. Also number 1 is Trey Pettyjohn not Kyle Daniel.

Actually, with it being practice, there were about three or four number 1 jerseys on the field that day. Coach Kirk id'ed the young man with the ball as Kyle Daniel.
