Diamond Leopards host Jefferson on Wednesday

The diamond Leopards are heading into the final game of the regular season.

Banks County hosts Jefferson in the season closer today (Wednesday) in a rescheduled game from Tuesday night due to rain.

The final game is also senior night for the team, which will recognize the contributions from the six seniors.

Leopard seniors include Bill Redmon, Chase Armour, Kyle Smith, Brett Armour, Brian Mathis and Marcus Adams.
Banks is currently sixth in the region with a 14-11; 10-9 record.

Coach Joe Lord said, “We've guaranteed ourselves our third straight winning season, and that is an accomplishment to be proud of.”

Today’s game with Jefferson begins with the senior honors at 4:30 p.m. with the game starting at 5:30 p.m.
