Tennis clinc to include standout instructors

Tennis drills and lessons will be offered Saturday at Riverwalk YMCA, located off Tom Miller Road near Bethlehem.

Former Winder-Barrow High School tennis standout Drake Bernstein will help conduct the event. Bernstein currently competes for the University of Georgia. Other instructors will include members and coaches and of the WBHS boys and girls tennis teams and coach Jeff Bernstein.

The event will be from 9 a.m. until noon. The admission price is $10 with donations going to the WBHS Tennis Booster Club. Drake Bernstein will compete in exhibition play for those attending.

Funds raised will help with the resurfacing and other needed repairs to the WBHS tennis courts, including the commemorative stone set in the memory of WBHS student Errol Ridgeway.
