Jefferson netters best Bulldogs

The Jefferson Dragons boys tennis team has made their first step forward in state tournament play, defeating Macon County 5-0 in round one to move on to round two.

The Dragons defeated the Bulldogs in 44 minutes, with Zach Bost, Blair Buffington, Ben Daniels, and the doubles teams of Matt Buchanan, Aaron Martin, Trevor Castellaw and Cason Thurmond all recording 6-0, 6-0 scores.

The boys will now prepare to face Greater Atlanta Christian at home today (Wednesday). Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
