Eagles Add Win Over Banks Co. 12-5

It was an even split for the East Jackson Eagles last week, as they picked up their fifth win of the season over Banks County on the road before dropping a game to Oglethorpe County at home.

Up next for the Eagles is a doubleheader at Dawson County at 5 p.m. on Friday.

The Dawson Tigers enter play this week off of a 10-7 victory over Riverside that snapped a six-game losing streak.

Banks County
The Leopards entered play riding a five-game winning streak, but East Jackson was out to stop it.

With the score knotted at four apiece in the top of the eighth, the Eagles scored eight runs to take a commanding lead.
