The Banks County boys’ soccer team finally had everything fall into place according to head coach Mike Boomer.

“We have spent the entire season trying to find the best positions for each player, and it finally came together against Buford. We lost one to nil against number 6 in the state. I feel we should be able to match up against anyone for the rest of the season,” Boomer said.

“We are 2-2 in the region and positioned for a play-in game for state if we win two of the last three,” said Boomer.

Still ahead for the Leopards is Rabun County this Thursday at home.

Next week on April 14, Banks heads to East Jackson where the girls start the non-region match at 4:30 p.m. with the boys following at 6:30 p.m.

The next region match for the Leopards will be at home on April 15 as the boys face Riverside at 4:30 p.m. and the Girls face East Jackson at 6:30 p.m.

Banks County’s soccer senior night will be April 20 as the Leopards host Madison. The final region match of the season is the following night on April 21 as Banks takes on Towns County.
