East Jackson Bests Rabun County

The East Jackson Eagles finally snapped their losing streak last week, with a 4-3 win over Rabun County.

Unfortunately, the win was book-ended by losses to Jefferson, Rabun County and Heritage.

The Eagles hope to get back in the win column this (Wednesday) afternoon, when they host the Oglethorpe County Patriots at 5:30.

And, there’s reason for optimism. The Patriots enter the week in the midst of their own six-game losing streak, with a 1-8 region record.

Jefferson
The Eagles hosted the Jefferson Dragons last Tuesday.

Jefferson jumped out front early, putting two runners across in the top of the first, and adding another two in the top of the second.

East Jackson got on the board in the bottom of the third, putting three runners across to cut the Dragons’ lead in half.
