Lady Panthers pick up sixth straight win

It’s been an up and down week for the Jackson County soccer teams this past week.

The boys started out last Wednesday against East Jackson at EJCHS. At the end of regulation, neither team had scored. In overtime, Jackson County had four successful penalty kicks. But the Eagles had five, giving the Eagles the win.

On Friday, Jackson County faced Eastside. For the boys, it was another rough outing, as the Eagles won over the Panthers 4-0. Meanwhile, the girls defeated the Lady Eagles 3-1. Lexie Miller, Gabbi Kastner and Mary Collin each scored a goal.

Tuesday was senior night, as Jackson County played host to Hart County.

It was a big win for the Lady Panthers, as they came away with a 10-0 victory.

It was also a good night for the Panthers, as they won 4-0. Senior Christian Sanchez had the hat trick, while senior Alex Garcia scored the other goal for Jackson County.

Jackson County will return to action on April 14, when they travel to Mountain View.
