Weekend opens recreation season

The Banks County Park and Recreation Department’s opening day ceremonies are this Saturday, April 3.

The BCPRD kicks off the baseball and softball season at 10 a.m. with a parade from the Banks County Elementary School to the number one ball field along Thompson Street.

All of the 40 teams will be brought out onto the field to help celebrate the start of another spring recreation season.
