Eagles Defeat Walnut Grove

Last week was one of highs and lows for East Jackson Eagles’ baseball team.

After picking up its first region win last Tuesday, East Jackson followed with two losses to Fannin County in a Saturday double header.

The Eagles will travel to Rabun County for a doubleheader on Friday against the Wildcats.

Rabun County enters play this week 3-3 in the region and 5-3 overall, fresh off a set of losses to Banks County in a doubleheader on Friday.

Action begins at 5 p.m.

Walnut Grove
Last Tuesday, the Eagles played host to the Warriors of Walnut Grove and came away with the 10-4 victory, getting 14 hits on the night in the process.
