The Jefferson netters continued their roll last week, as they defeated Banks County at home last Thursday.
The boys won 4-1. Zach Bost won at number one singles in sets of 6-1, 6-0. Ben Daniels won at number two singles in sets of 6-3, 6-0. Sky Porter won at number three singles in sets of 6-2, 6-2. Matt Buchanan and Aaron Martin won in number one doubles in sets of 6-0, 6-2.
The girls swept the Lady Leopards, winning 5-0.
Bell Blankenship won at number one singles in sets of 6-4, 6-3. Maggie Broome won at number two singles in sets of 6-3, 6-0. Miranda McGarity won at number three singles in sets of 6-1, 6-0. Taylor Bost and Tristan McGarity won at number one doubles in sets of 7-6 (8), 6-2. Alison Salsman and Erin Roberts won at number two doubles in sets of 6-2, 6-2.
After seeing Monday’s match against Athens Academy rained out, Jefferson traveled to Nicholson to face East Jackson.
For the boys, it was a 5-0 sweep.
