Eagles Travel To Fannin Sat.

The East Jackson Eagles go into play this week looking for their first region win of the season.

So far, things have not gone well in region play, as the Eagles dropped games to Jefferson and Banks County earlier this month before losing to North Oconee last week.

The Eagles hope to snap a five-game losing streak dating back to March 6 against Osborne.

Their next shot at getting back in the win column comes on Saturday, as the Eagles travel to Fannin County for a double header against the Rebels.

The Rebels enter play this week off of back-to-back wins in a double header against Walnut Grove.

Fannin County is 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the region. First pitch in Saturday’s first game is scheduled for 3 p.m.

North Oconee
On Tuesday, the Eagles faced the sixth ranked North Oconee Titans.

East Jackson ran into a wall on both ends, as the Titans threw a no-hitter, shutting out the Eagles 15-0 in four innings.

East Jackson was scheduled to host Walnut Grove Tuesday. Results were unavailable at press time.
