Jefferson to face Oglethorpe Friday

The Jefferson soccer teams were looking for good results this week after wet weather cut last week’s action short.

Both teams were slated to face East Jackson on Friday, but those matches were postponed due to wet weather.

Jefferson would return to action on Tuesday, as they played host to North Oconee.

The boys came away with a 10-0 loss. Results for the girls were unavailable at press time.

Up next for the Jefferson soccer teams is a trip to Oglethorpe on Friday. The girls’ match is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., with the boys’ match to follow at 7 p.m.
