Leopards’ soccer falls to Riverside

Banks County’s boys soccer team faced a defeat on the road last week.

The Leopards were at Riverside, where the Eagles took a 3-0 win over Banks in the boy’s only game.

The Leopards and the Lady Leopards were both scheduled to play at Rabun County on Friday, but results from that game were unavailable at press time.

Up next for the Banks County soccer teams is the first match of the Lumpkin County Mountain Cup Tourney. Banks will take on White County today (Wednesday) on the road. The boys play at 5 p.m. and the girls start at 7 p.m.

Banks faces Lumpkin next in the tourney on Friday. The girls start at 5 p.m. and the boys follow at 7 p.m. on the road.

Banks County soccer returns home on March 9 to host Dawson County at 5 p.m. for the girls with the boys to follow.
