The Lady Eagles of East Jackson saw their season come to a close in the first round of region tournament play last week, as they fell 63-41 to Banks County.
The Lady Leopards took control early on, moving out to a 23-10 advantage by the end of the first quarter, and the Eagles could not recover.
East Jackson outscored Banks County 12-6 in the second period to make it 29-22 at the half, but Banks County’s 16-10 third-quarter run put the Leopards up 45-32 after three periods.
