It has been more than a decade since she last donned a basketball jersey, but Banks County assistant superintendent Donna Reed still holds a special place in her heart for the game.
Her achievements at Clemson have stood the test of time and in recognition of those accomplishments Reed was recently named to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Women’s Basketball Legends sixth annual class.
Reed, along with 11 other former athletes representing the 12 schools and four decades of ACC women’s basketball, will be recognized during the ACC Legends Luncheon on March 5 as well as on the court at halftime during the first semifinal game of the ACC women’s tournament on March 6.
