Round 2 Friday: Can 12-4 Tigers Beat Jefferson Dragons Again?

“Our guys continue to play with a lot of effort and a ton of heart,” said coach Chad Bridges. “We have nine games left and hope to continue to exceed expectations.”

Following Friday’s game, Commerce returns home and back to region action as the Tigers host Social Circle at 7:30 p.m.

Earlier in the week, Commerce faced Tallulah Falls. Results from Tuesday’s region game against the Indians were unavailable at press time.

Move to 12-4
Last week, the Tigers extended their win streak by three, to seven games, first with a win Tuesday night over Towns County, 82-66.

Commerce took an early lead, and held onto a 12-point lead at the half. During the second half, the Tigers outscored Towns County 43-39 to take the win.
