A 14-3 run by Cedar Shoals in the third quarter hurt the chances for victory for the Apalachee High School Lady Wildcats Tuesday.
The visiting Lady Jaguars would hold on for a 58-45 win in a contest which seemed to slip away from AHS.
“We had to work so hard for two points and they were getting easy attempts on the blocks,” said Lady Wildcat coach Michael Parks. “If some of our other attempts had fallen in the first half, maybe we would have had more confidence in the second.”
