Bethlehem Christian Academy football coach Lance Fendley knew Community Christian would present a challenge for his Knights even if his team played well last Friday night.
A combination of events beginning with a poor week of preparation culminating with five turnovers when the game was played and made for a long night for BCA which suffered its first loss of 2016.
Community Christian eventually won a 47-14 contest although BCA was still in the contest for a half, despite the number of miscues it had.
“When you practice bad you are going to play bad,” Fendley said. “It was just a crummy week of preparation on our part. It was bad coaching, bad everything.”
