Casey Rogers and Dennis Whitley are set for the big stage.

The two local athletes are set for the Georgia High School Association state track meet this Thursday in Jefferson. The annual Georgia Olympics features all classifications and has become the ultimate goal of any track athlete in the state. [Full Story »]

Lady Golfers Place Sixth At State Tournament Monday

The Lady Tiger golfers finished just four strokes shy of fifth place at the state tournament Monday.

Commerce took sixth place with a score of 208. Shooting a career best 99, CJ Wilkes was the team medalist followed by Chelsey Cain (109).

Both Jackson County golf teams saw their seasons come to a close last week, as both teams came away from region tournament play in Rutledge with eighth place finishes overall.
