The Banks County High School Leopards and the North Oconee Titans went toe-to-toe in an old-fashioned defensive battle Friday night.
In the end, visiting North Oconee held on for a 12-7 win in a contest which saw both teams limited offensively. The BCHS defense held the Titans to just 129 yards overall as defensive coordinator Paul Hoch's squad play its best game of the season.
See this Thursday's edition of The Banks County News for a complete wrapup of the North Oconee contest and a preview of this Friday's key Region 8-AA game at East Jackson.
