Injuries took it toll on the Leopards this past weekend at the Morgan County Christmas Classic.
Banks County finished seventh out of 13 teams while missing several starters, according to coach Kasey Hanley.
The Leopard grapplers did finish three in runner-up position, including Mason Patton (103) who fell in triple overtime.
Nathan Holloway (140) and Marcus Adams (215) were the other two, second place finishers for the Leopards. Adams lost by one point in the final match.
Other placers in fourth place were Jared Gregory (160) and Jordan Waters (112). Gregory is still recovering from an earlier injury, according to Hanley.
Viet Pham (125) finished just outside the top in fifth while sixth place finishes went to Justin Fincannon (130), Hayden Dilbeck (145) and Travis Betts (189).
White County won the Classic with 180 points followed by Morgan County and Oconee.
Banks hosted East Jackson and Walnut Grove on Tuesday. Results from the home dual were unavailable at press time.
Coming up for the Leopard grapplers is the Oconee County Tommy Warren Duals on Saturday. After this weekend, Banks will take off from competition until January 2 when the Leopards compete in the Georgia/Carolina Classic at Hart County.
