Two Win Coaching Honors

East Jackson Comprehensive High School’s coaching staff has received accolades.

Frank Caputo was chosen by his fellow football region coaches as the coach of the year for 2009.

Caputo led the Eagles to a 10-2 season, including a trip into the second round of state playoffs.

East Jackson cross country coach Bob Roller was also named as the boys’ region coach of the year. Roller led the cross country team to a region championship and a second-place finish at state.
