Great care taken on AHS field

The field at R. Harold Harrison Stadium rivals anything in the state of Georgia.

Chris Hixson leads a group which helps paint the field for games throughout the season.


“Our field looks awesome every Friday night,” Apalachee High School football coach Shane Davis said. “They put a lot of man hours into making it look the way it does.”


For last Friday’s first-round contest against Starr’s Mill, Hixson and his team added endzone designs which took several hours to complete.
