It was a successful Saturday for the Winder-Barrow High School competition cheerleading team.
Coach Jerrie Hulsey’s squad won first among 35 schools at a competition hosted by Putnam County High School in Eatonton.
“We had an amazing performance,” Hulsey said. “The team hit everything. They looked like they were having the time of their lives. We had changed the routine a little bit to make sure the routine was clean.”
The Cheer Doggs scored 262 points out of a possible 300 earning marks of 88, 87 and 87.
The Winder-Barrow High School competition cheerleading team captured first place among 35 schools in the co-ed division Saturday in an event hosted by Putnam County High School in Eatonton.
