The East Jackson softball season came to an end last week, as the Lady Eagles were swept in a doubleheader by North Oconee on Oct. 6 in the opening round of region playoff action.
East Jackson fell 10-2 in six innings in the first game, then lost 6-2 in game two.
Individual statistics were not available at press time.
The Lady Eagles’ ended their season 2-7 in region play, and 5-16 overall.
It also marks the first time in the three-year history of the program that East Jackson has not contended for the region title.
