With season-best times at Riverside last week, the Commerce Tiger cross country teams is hitting its stride.
The Tigers competed in a dual against Riverside Military on Thursday, finishing second. They were scheduled to take on the Banks County Leopards in Homer on Tuesday, but results from Tuesday’s meet were unavailable at press time.
Next Tuesday, Oct. 13, Commerce joins Jackson County, East Jackson, Jefferson, Banks County and Madison County for the 2009 MainStreet Meet at East Jackson Comprehensive High School.
The meet will begin at 4:30 p.m. as the middle school teams race, followed by the varsity races, with the boys running at 5:00 p.m. and the girls to follow.
