Banks County has one week to prepare for one of the toughest games of its season.
Following last Friday’s loss to East Jackson, the Leopards now must win every game left in the season for a shot at the playoffs. This Friday, Banks County is on a bye week, but returns on Oct. 16 to face the undefeated Jefferson powerhouse.
“We are obviously, probably not going to be picked to win,” said coach Blair Armstrong. “We have to execute … If we play our best game and they don’t play their best game, we have a chance.”
While the team takes a few days off, before getting back to practice, coach Armstrong said that the Leopards have to “lick our wounds and look at ourselves and how to get better.”
