Dragons travel to EJCHS Tuesday

The Jefferson Dragon cross country teams traveled to Alexander High School over the weekend to take part in the Asics Alexander Invitational.

The girls came away with a ninth place finish, while the boys placed 15th overall.

Cara Smith finished highest among the girls, placing 12th with a 21:20.

Other finishers included Lauren Phillips with a 22:17, Laura Price with a 22:41, Jessica Runkel with a 23:12 and Zoe Cown with a 27:04.

Trae Timmerman finished highest among the boys, placing 37th with a time of 18:22. Other finishers included Jake Marlowe with an 18:40, Michael Stephenson with a 19:33, Jake Sherman with a 19:34, and Cannon Joiner with a 22:06.
