The Winder-Barrow High School competition cheerleading team finished second at North Gwinnett High School Saturday as coach Jerrie Hulsey said her squad showed marked improvement.
“I thought the team was 1,000 times better,” Hulsey said. “It was much cleaner and the kids looked like they were having a great time. We had changed some of the aspects of our routine to make it more visual. We worked on hitting our standing tumbling and standing up clean. We had no busted tumbling this past Saturday. Our pyramids looked a lot better.”
