The Dragons will next travel to Riverside Military Academy on Friday to face the Eagles.
Riverside enters the game fresh off a loss to East Jackson.

Union County
At first, it looked like things might be pretty close, as Union County jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
But just two minutes into the game, the Dragons put their first points on the board. An extra point attempt missed, and Jefferson trailed 7-6.
From there, Jefferson pretty much controlled the first quarter, scoring twice more to take a 20-7 lead into the second quarter.
Union County would score again in the second quarter, but Jefferson would score two more times to make it 34-14 with about six minutes left in the half. The Dragons would twice more break into the end zone to make it 50-14 at the half.
It was more of the same in the second quarter. The Tigers were able to score again, but it was Jefferson who seemed to control the ball. By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, the Dragons held a commanding 56-21 lead. When the final buzzer sounded, it ended up being a 63-28 blowout for Jefferson.
