Lady Tigers Looking For Clear Skies

Rain put a damper on the Commerce Lady Tigers as both of last week’s softball games were washed out.

The Hebron game from Sept. 15 is rescheduled for Oct. 8. At press time, a date had not been set for the non-region game with Banks County.

This week, Commerce was scheduled to take on Towns County on the road Tuesday and host Social Circle today.

According to coach Pam Canup, Commerce will approach the games on a day-by-day basis and hope for a chance to play.

At press time the Towns County game on Tuesday was still scheduled, but further updates were unavailable.

Commerce has several possible rain dates to make up the games — Oct. 5, Oct. 7, or Oct. 9.
