Linder, Love, Lowe Victorious In Race Weekend

It was another good weekend for area racers across the region.

Hoschton’s Matt Linder took the win in the ASCS Sprint Car event at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock Saturday. Linder made a last lap pass on series points leader Kenny Adams for his sixth overall ASCS feature win of the year, and a $2,000 pay day.

Brian Thomas, of Commerce, finished tenth in the event.

Joey Love of Maysville led wire-to-wire to win in the Open Wheeled Modified division at Lanier National Speedway Saturday night. It’s his 11th victory of the season, and his third in a row.

Commerce racer Ty Lowe took first in the Crate Late Model division at Lavonia Speedway Saturday night.
