The Leopards have finally put one in the win column, as Banks County defeated Dawson County 32-21 last Friday.
The victory gives the Leopards a much need boost with a 1-1 record, 1-2 overall heading into Friday night’s game hosting Rabun County.
The Wildcats are 0-2 in region play with a 17-point scoring average. Banks County is averaging 21 points per game and will look to repeat last season’s 35-6 win, but head coach Blair Armstrong is expecting a strong opponent.
Kane Duncan (1) hands the ball off to Dylan Lackey (33) during earlier action. During last Friday’s game, Lackey suffered an injury to his knee and is expected to be out for the rest of the season. Photo by Justin Poole
