Panthers compete at Banks County meet

It was a strong showing for the Jackson County Panthers cross country teams as they traveled to Banks County last week.

The girls won the six-team event, with Brittany Aikins winning the event with a 22:41.

Rachel Pasko placed second overall in the event, while Sydney Baird finished sixth in her first career 5K event.

Mary Collin completed the team score for the Panthers.

The boys raced as well with several runners missing.

Miguel Guereca and Austin Moser finished together running a 23:21. David Serna ran a 24:22. Other runners included Zach Knight and Li Her.
