Lady Dragons face North Oconee Thurs.

It’s been a rough last few games for the Jefferson softball team. After defeating Commerce just before Labor Day, the Lady Dragons have now lost their last three games in a row, and are 0-3 in region play and 5-7 overall.

Jefferson hopes to reverse that trend on Thursday, as they travel to North Oconee to face the Lady Titans.

First pitch is scheduled for 5:55 p.m.

The Lady Dragons started last week off with a trip to Walnut Grove to face the Lady Warriors. Walnut Grove would put three runs across the plate in the third inning, and another three in the fifth while keeping Jefferson off of the scoreboard. In the end, the Lady Warriors won 6-0.

Morgan McKinney recorded the loss, giving up seven hits and six runs while striking out one.

Rana Davis went 1-1 at the plate. Lindsey Miles went 1-3. Cason Anderson went 1-2.

Next up was a home stand against the Lady Rebels of Fannin County. After two scoreless innings, the Lady Rebels put four runs on the board in the top of the third, and added a fifth in the top of the sixth.

Jefferson scored one lone run in the bottom of the sixth, as Fannin County went on to win 5-1.
