Wildcats host scrimmage Friday

The new Apalachee High School football season is just over a week away but the Wildcats will get a warmup tonight when Westminster visits R. Harold Harrison Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

Coach Shane Davis will look to lead AHS to the postseason for the fourth consecutive season. Preseason indications have the Wildcats as one of the favorites to advance from Region 8-AAAA.

The WBHS Bulldoggs hosted a preseason scrimmage Thursday night falling to Flowery Branch 56-21. See a complete football report in the upcoming Aug. 26 edition of the Barrow Journal.
