Long Practices Ahead For Tigers

There are only two weeks separating the Commerce Tigers from the start of another football season.

The Tigers have already completed their first week of practice in helmets and pads and, according to head coach Steve Savage, the players have demonstrated dedication in practice.

“I think our attention to detail has been real good and we have shown good enthusiasm,” Savage said. “We have gone hard in long practice sessions. We have been going a lot longer, three to three-and-half hours, and our kids have done well with it.”
