The countdown is on to a new season for the defending region 8-AA champion Jefferson Dragons.
With just over two weeks before kickoff against their archrivals, the Commerce Tigers, new head football coach T. McFerrin said he’s seeing progress with his team.
“It’s been a slow process, and I think football coaches by nature are just impatient,” he said this week. “You want things to fall in place right away, and it doesn’t happen that way, especially when you’re coming in and there’s a change.”
