It was a strong showing in state competition for the Jefferson Sea Dragons, as the combined boys and girls teams placed seventh out of 28 teams to compete in Tifton.
Out of 33 swimmers to go to state, 13 of 15 relay teams made the medal stand, and 13 out of 14 individuals swimmers made the stand.
Haley Bartoletta was the lone individual state titlist for Jefferson, as she took first in the Girls 7-8 25 Breaststroke. She also placed second in the girls’ 7-5 25 Butterfly.
Lilly Blackstock, pictured here doing the Backstroke during a recent meet, was a member of the four member team that took first in the girls’ 10-under 100 Freestyle relay.
