Tigersharks Host Jefferson Thursday

The Commerce Tigersharks had a weekend off, but still used the off week to prepare for their upcoming meets.

Coming off strong performances at the Dacula Invitational on June 28, where the Tigersharks racked up 25 top ten finishes, the team extended some of its practices in anticipation of Thursday’s home stand against the Jefferson Sea Dragons and Saturday’s District Meet in Habersham County.

Commerce’s busy week starts off Thursday at 6 p.m., as it plays host to Jefferson. It’s the second meeting of the two teams this season.

On Saturday, the Tigersharks will travel to the Habersham County Aquatic Center to take part in the District Meet. The top three qualifiers from each event will qualify for state competition in Tifton on July 25 and 26. In between, Commerce will host the Winder Barracudas on Tuesday, July 15, at 6 p.m.
