Several Sea Dragons take first at Gainesville meet

It was a successful outing for the Jefferson Sea Dragons on Saturday, as they took part in the North Georgia Swim League SPLASH event held at the Francis Meadows Acquatic Center in Gainesville.

Several of Jefferson’s swimmers brought home first place finishes, while several others placed in the top ten, with some events having over 100 swimmers take part.

Ryan Childress took first in the Girls 25 10-under Freestyle. Gregory Prozorovskiy took first in the boys’ 6-under Backstroke. Heather Perry took first in the girls’ 10-under Breaststroke.

The team of Haley Bartoletta, Olivia Axelberg, McKenzie Klinck and Ally Kate Navas took first in the girls’ 8-under 100 Freestyle relay.

The Girls 10-under team also won by a wide margin, but was disqualified for an early take-off.

The Sea Dragons also saw several top tens from team members, including Camille Porter, Erica Hughes, Lauren Hughes, Maggie Lamb, Avery Mixon, Jacob Musgrove, Lucas Carreno, Heather Perry, Bree Hanson, Lilli Blackstock, C.J. Guzman, Jackson Lamb, Trent Novicki, Jacob Sealock, Audrey Mixon, Avery Nelms, Caroline Mitchell, Haley Bartoletta, Jackson Lamb, Trent Novicki, McKenna Lee and Collin Harkins.
